Kun kuljimme pisin Lontoota yrityksestä toiseen, napsin kuvia aina kun mahdollista. Olen viettänyt paljon aikaa Lontoossa aikaisemminkin, mutta siitä on jo vierähtänyt 24 vuotta!
Tulen nyt useampana päivänä käymään läpi matkaamme, koska kuvia tuli otettua aika tavalla. Tänään aloitetaan historiallisista rakennuksista.
Houses of Parliament.
Big Ben and Westminster Bridge.
Big Ben was built 1859. Bell itself weights over 14 tons and the minute hand is over 4 meters long. Unfortunately whole building was under construction.
Whitehall Court was built during the mid -1880s.
Ministry of Defense was built 1938.
Tower Bridge. Building took 8 years and it was finally completed 1894.
World's biggest ferris wheel; London Eye. Built on year 2000, height of 135m.
The Shard is a 95-storey skyscraper. Tallest building in the UK (309,7m).
National Maritime Museum in Greenwich was opened on 1937.
And finally; Cutty Sark. A British clipper ship which was built in 1869.
After 24 years I visited London again. As a part of our education program we were going through important corporate's and industries related to our business area.
Always when we were going from one place into another, I took pictures. I have quite a few pictures and today I presented historic buildings.
As you can see, weather was quite cloudy and it was surprisingly cold. On our arrival day there was even snow on the ground.
