Kun nyt saatiin kunnon pakkaset, niin minäkin halusin kokeilla tehdä samanlaisen.
Olin lukenut jostain, että kun keittää veden niin jäästä pitäisi tulla kirkkaampi. Aloitin projektin siis keittämällä melkein ämpärillisen vettä. Tietysti piti sitten odottaa, että vesi jäähtyy, ennen kuin laitoin kukat ämpäriin.
My neighbor had a lovely ice lantern two years ago. Now when we have minus degrees, I thought I could try to make one of my own. I boiled the water (read somewhere that it makes the ice more clearer) and after it cooled down, I add flowers. Then you just put the bucket outside and wait.
Have to say that I can't see if the ice is any more clearer than normally. But lantern does look quite nice.
