This area contains 48 blocks, 248 properties and about 600 buildings. Around 700 persons are living in these wooden houses.
In this kind of wooden city center fear of fire is always present. There has been two fires: on year 1640 and 1682 which destroyed the whole town.
For me this place represents of course home and I feel like I belong here. Everything is familiar, small enough and peaceful. I love that I can go everywhere just by walking.
